My first typical Moselle sweet vine: harvested from the Kirchberg, the yeast simply didn’t want to continue working. We let the yeast finish without pressing it. The result is a fine sweet Riesling with 58 g sugar content. It is an ideal accompaniment to desserts as well as to foie gras or sushi.
Matured in the best locations:
Burgen’s Kirchberg
The gradient points southeast. The Kirchberg has a soft slate soil, is protected from the westerly winds by a strip of forest and thus enjoys sufficient humidity even in the driest years. It matures fruity vines with robust acidity and strong bouquet.
From the steep slope, fine fruity
